Cat boarding at Abbeyfeale Luxury Cattery
If your cat deserves the best, then he or she deserves to stay at Abbeyfeale Luxury Cattery. Our purpose built, spacious and secure cattery has been designed to exceed the UK’s Feline Advisory Bureau’s highest standards, which exceed the European standard.
Each cat has its own spacious two room apartment, fully equipped with de-luxe sleeping baskets, scratching posts and a comfy chair, providing a home from home experience for your pet.
Our experienced staff ensure the highest standard of care at all times.
Inspections are welcome by appointment only. For the security and safety of our customer’s pets at Abbeyfeale, members of the general public are not allowed access to the kennels, cattery or grounds.
Wellbeing & Welfare
Boarding at any kennel or cattery can feel strange for the first day or so and we want all our guests to feel immediately at home so we encourage owners to bring with them favorite items such as toys, bedding or blankets. Items containing your own scent can also help your pet feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible in your absence.
We care passionately about our guests and will treat your pet as our own giving it all the attention it needs to settle in and enjoy its time with us to the full.
Veterinary Services
In the unfortunate event that an animal becomes ill whilst staying with us we have access to veterinary services 24 hours a day. Please notify us in advance of any ongoing treatments or known medical conditions affecting your pet.
Please note that we reserve the right to refuse admission of any animal showing signs of ill health.
Nutrition
Abbeyfeale Luxury Kennels and Cattery is owned by an animal nutrition expert who fully understands your pet’s needs. We cater for all dietary requirements with the highest quality naturally hypo-allergenic dry food that provides a complete and fully balanced diet. We appreciate that some animals prefer and are used to eating wet foods so this is also catered for. If you have a particularly fussy eater, you can even bring your own pet food from home.

Safe & Secure boarding
Your pet is continually protected at Abbeyfeale Luxury Kennels & Cattery by our experienced staff and additionally from our state-of-the-art security including CCTV, motion sensors and alarms.
We go to great lengths to ensure the safety of your pet.
Pet Day Care
If you find yourself in a situation where you are out for the day and can’t look after your pet, we can do it for you. Our day care service is available during business hours Monday to Friday.
Vaccinations
We want all the animals in our care to remain healthy and unfortunately, we cannot admit any animal to Abbeyfeale without proof of up-to-date vaccinations. On arrival we will require evidence, typically in the form of a vaccination card or certificate which can be obtained from your vet or pet vaccination clinic.
Pricing
Our boarding fees are charged for each full or part-day.
Cat boarding: €12 Euro
Medication
If medication needs to be administered this will be undertaken provided the animal accepts the medication without resistance, and that it can be administered by one of our non-veterinary qualified kennel team.
